Yard Waste Removal
Brush piles, broken playsets, that fence section from the storm. Composted when possible.

Pile of storm-fallen branches and fence sections being loaded into the truck. Chainsaw resting on the tailgate. Overcast post-storm light, autumn leaves on the ground.
After a storm, the Capital Region's tree canopy goes down hard. We do same-day storm cleanups for downed limbs, snapped saplings, fence sections, and tarp-wrapped roof debris. Outside of storm season, our usual yard work is old fencing removal, broken playset teardown, shed teardown (small sheds), brush piles from spring cleanup, and the dead landscape plants that didn't survive the winter. Where we can, yard waste goes to a Capital Region composting facility (organics) or a wood-chip recycler (large limbs and trunks) rather than the transfer station. We're not a tree-cutting service. If you have a standing tree that needs to come down, we can recommend one and we'll handle the haul-away once they're done. We do bring chainsaws for branch sizing.
- Storm debris (limbs, brush, fence sections)
- Brush piles, hedge trimmings
- Old wooden fences (sections)
- Broken or outgrown playsets
- Small sheds (under 12x12, accessible by truck)
- Dead landscape plants, root balls
- Pavers, retaining wall blocks (small quantities)
- Outdoor furniture
- Mulch piles, dirt piles (small)
- Christmas trees (post-season)
- Standing trees. We'll refer you to a local tree service.
- Soil contamination cleanups. Specialty.
- Pool decks (usually fine, but ask first; some have treated lumber)
How it goes
The yard waste removal process.
We bring chainsaws and rakes. Walk the yard with you, agree on the scope, then haul. Brush gets bundled or chunked into truck-friendly sizes. We rake behind us so the yard looks tidy.

FAQ
Common questions.
- How is the price calculated?
- By volume, not weight. We charge by how much of the truck you fill, from a single item ($129) up to a full 15-yard load ($549). Pricing is on the Pricing page so you know what to expect before we show up.
- Are there any hidden fees?
- No. No trip charges, no fuel surcharges, no stair fees, no 'heavy item' fees. The quote we give is the price you pay. We get this question a lot because some of the national chains aren't transparent about this.
- How do you compare to 1-800-GOT-JUNK and College Hunks?
- We're typically 10 to 15% cheaper for the same volume, and we don't hide the prices. We're a small local outfit. Lower overhead means a better rate for you.
- Can you come the same day?
- Often yes, especially if you book before noon. Tuesday through Friday tend to have the most same-day slots open. Use the quote form and we'll text you confirmation within a couple of hours.
- What if I just have one or two things?
- Single items welcome. Our minimum charge is $129. That covers one couch, one mattress, one fridge, plus whatever fits around it. No trip charge.
Why us
The honest side-by-side.
Worth knowing before you book. We're not always the cheapest, but we're the most predictable. Surprise charges are how people end up hating hauling companies.
