We work in phases: sort with the family first, haul the obvious stuff, then come back for the harder decisions. We hold anything that looks sentimental for a final family review. We handle the donation side ourselves so the family doesn't need to coordinate four different drop-offs. We work with attorneys who specialize in NY estate law and can coordinate the cleanout around appraisals, estate sales, or family pickups. Most cleanouts run 2 to 4 visits over 1 to 3 weeks.
