Heavy cleanouts (sometimes called 'hoarder cleanouts') require a different approach than regular junk hauling. The home has typically been lived in for decades. There are pathways through stacks of items rather than open rooms. There are safety considerations: structural stress on floors, blocked exits, fire risk. And there's almost always someone whose life is in those rooms. They deserve respect, privacy, and pace. Our crew is trained for these jobs. We coordinate with Adult Protective Services case managers, family members, geriatric care managers, and mental-health professionals when they're involved. We work in slow phases, often 3 to 8 visits over weeks, so the resident has time to process. We don't photograph the property except for our own work records, and we never identify a property online or in marketing. We partner with biohazard specialty cleaners when needed (rodents, infestation, biological contamination) and pest-control companies for pre-cleanout treatment. Most heavy cleanouts price out at multiple full-truck loads. We work with families on payment plans for larger jobs.
